First, you need a good helmet. I recommend at least gloves and helmet on the level of safety equipment.
ReplyDeleteIn terms of clothing. Get a good pair of bike shorts on Fox or Real, or TLD or Oakley, and so on. one of the big companies. It seems frivolous, but when you drive past that are a lot of time in the saddle, you back Thank you for wearing a tan. The upper material is generally more resistant to wear and durable than the usual short as possible to reach further down in the first period. In the summer, a pair of compression shorts underneath. In winter you can get a pair of compression shorts or cold, if you mount the mandates of the country, only the pedal with your knee / shin guards. As you pedal, the legs normally are too cold in both cases.
At the top of a shirt or sweater is beautiful in summer. In winter, usually only wear a base layer of compression under a shirt or sweater almost every day. When you cold, or when it is wet, have a Burton snowboard Pitto sHell, but any technique will work for Shell. It is important that the actor good breathable waterproof. It is really only there to keep you dry and some of its heat.
Remember when the car is on the way, you will save a lot of energy and the creation of much of our own heat, if you do not want to shift. You need a little cold, otherwise we will be at the end too hot.
I have tried clipless pedals and shoes a few times, because its what we always see in the corridors of the old school boys and XC-driver, etc. .. Frankly, I absolutely do not suffer. Really bring substantial benefits in terms of maximizing your pedal stroke, but the terrain I ride, I must be able to save itself from my bike and to choose a safe place to land ... with clipless pedals, this is impossible. If you already know, as recommended clipless, I wouldnt ... comply with flat pedals.
If you want the power at the next I could not find clipless below ... Get a pair of shoes with th Fivetand Stealth rubber soles and good pair of thin, flat as Kona Wah Wah pedals .. or Pimplites Atomlab or eThirteen Sotocattos, etc. You do not have reception slip on the pedals, but still the ability to bind to the "safety" when something goes wrong.
In the warmer months - 1 base coat and a raincoat. In the colder months - 2 Baselayers (at least 1 long sleeve), 1 medium and 1 layer of opaque.
ReplyDeleteFor the pants (or bibs set). Short-legged in the summer and warm in winter.
The spells are always great - the neck and face during the cold months of the cold and keep the flies from the face of the spring and summer.
You can spend a fortune on the wheel to technical clothing, etc., Primark and buy shirts.
I use clipless.

When it rained, and there was no chance of mud, I can not use your clothes best cyclists, it is never clean.
ReplyDeleteThe shorts are a necessity when it is cold, then you will be able to use some of them. Shirts must be resistant to wind and cold, so that when wet, then it gets worse.
